The apartment was beautifully decorated and had a cozy feel, making me instantly feel at home. The fully equipped kitchen was a major plus for me as a guest with disabilities, allowing me to prepare my own meals easily. The separate bedroom in the elegantly decorated apartment provided a peaceful and private space for a comfortable night's sleep. The living room in the elegant studio was the perfect spot to relax and unwind after a day of exploring Porto. The terrace offered breathtaking river views, adding an extra touch of magic to my stay.
Personally, I found the terrace a bit small, but I understand that others might still enjoy it.

Brand-new room, GOOD view, happy staff. Heated pool. Nice service overall. Although the area is quite dirty, the apartment is so close to Porto De Alfandega.
Wi-Fi was terrible.

Great location for exploring the city center. Close to the river and historical sites. Also, the apartment was spacious and clean, with a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom.
The street noise was unbearable, even for a heavy sleeper like me. The view from the apartment was also disappointing, as it mostly consisted of factory buildings with only a small glimpse of the river.

Ariana, the super friendly and helpful landlady, spoke excellent English and made my stay mind-blowingly awesome. The well-equipped kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, and flat-screen TV were jaw-droppingly perfect. The apartment's perfect location for exploring the charming old town and the nearby congress center was simply superb. The backyard terrace was an amazing spot for outdoor dining and the off-site car park made it super convenient. Plus, the area offered great options for hiking and cycling. Loved that pets weren't allowed, ensuring a peaceful and clean environment. Highly recommended!

The apartment was clean, spacious, and had a nice view of the river. The balcony was covered and the kitchen had basic cooking equipment. The location was great, with a local cafe offering affordable lunch options and easy walking distance to the city center. The bus and tram stops were conveniently located right outside the apartment.
Felt like being home, no complaints.

I keep coming back to this cozy place because I always have everything I need—Wi-Fi, car park, kitchenware, and a TV. The staff even gave me water once at night. Can't wait to be here for New Year's!

The free WiFi was a lifesaver, bringing me back to reality after being trapped in the unique architecture of the building. The range of activities offered in the area helped distract me from the lack of private parking.

Who needs a gym when you have to climb all those stairs to the top road and then down again to reach the apartment? Talk about a workout! But hey, at least the WiFi was strong, so I could post my sweaty selfies instantly.
Oh, and let's not forget the "unique architecture" of the building. Who needs privacy when you can hear everything your neighbors do?

Centrally located with great access to activities like cycling along the river and hiking in the nearby hills. The apartment was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. Adriana, the host, was incredibly kind and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. Truly a "home away from home" for our family vacation.
For dads, it would be great to have more child-friendly amenities.

The location was perfect, within walking distance to cool places like the Ribeira and Vila Nova de Gaia. We had a blast exploring the city, and there were so many fun activities to do, like cycling and hiking. The apartment itself was comfortable and clean, with everything we needed for a great vacation. it was a rad place to stay!
The only thing we wished for was a better nightlife scene near the apartments. As young party-goers, we wanted more options for late-night fun.

We had a great stay at the apartment. It was clean and just as described. the kitchen had everything we needed, including some essential ingredients. the apartment's location was perfect, as it was within walking distance of the Ribeira area and its waterfront. We loved that there were stairs nearby to easily ascend the hill. There were plenty of bars and cafes in the vicinity, and a supermarket was only a 15-minute walk away. the view from the room, especially from the covered balcony, was amazing, overlooking the river. the apartment itself was spacious and quiet, except for the occasional noise from seagulls nesting nearby. we had a wonderful experience at Douro River Cozy Apartments. Cons: Nothing, everything was excellent! 👌.
